Clint Nickell - Sales Director
Mechanical Engineer

Clint has more than 27 years’ experience in the oil industry. Having started his career at Engen Petroleum where he worked in the engineering and fuel operations, lubricants production and later lubricant sales for over 18 years. Prior to that he was Lubricants General Manager at Chevron South Africa, Executive Director of Chevron South Africa and Chairman of the Rose Foundation, the organisation responsible for the recycling of used lubricants and associated waste products. He currently holds the position of Sales Director at AGL/Centlube.

Ahlben Phillipus - B.Com (UCT), MBA (WBS) Commercial Manager AGL

Ahlben has extensive experience within the petroleum energy sector (both consulting and direct) that includes working in various European and African countries, delivering on roles and projects across sales, marketing, supply, distribution, customer support, finance and IT. This cross functional exposure enables end to end conceptualisation, while still being able to dissect, analyse and build business models that provide the necessary direction to deliver operational excellence, improved customer satisfaction levels, higher margins and long term growth.

Deon Heymans - M.Tech Mech Eng (VUT) Technical Manager

Deon is a Professional Technologist (Mechanical Engineering) registered with the Engineering Council of SA (ECSA). He has a wealth of experience fulfilling various technical as well as plant engineering roles across the steel and petrochemical industries. After gaining the necessary industry experience Deon returned to academia and dedicated 8 years to Potchefstroom University in the Mechanical Engineering department. Deon returned to industry and joined ExxonMobil, then Engen and has industry leading technical experience with Lubricants.

Collins Simushi – BBA (CBU Zambia) Commercial Manager Central

Collins started his career in the Petroleum industry with Castrol Lubricants before moving to Total Zambia. Later on, he moved back to Castrol and BP be fore forming his own oil company in 2009. He has a total of 17 years in lubricants with special focus on sales and market development.

Donald McDonald Regional Sales Manager West

Mac has 36 years of lubricant industry experience, and fulfilled various Sales and Marine Technical Support roles in South Africa and Namibia. Mac was involved in the introduction of the CAT SGA business into Namibia during 1999 through Lubrication Specialists, a joint venture with ExxonMobil.
